par-ah-kai-THESE-tá
[noun, MEX slang]-An errant person, without fixed domicile, or who has taken residence somewhere other than his home. A traveller. Nomad.

There is not one Mexico, there are many Mexicos. We came into this world in a very interesting time in beer history, and we were blessed to land in a varied, colorful country. As such, we set ourselves to challenge the Mexican craft beer market, producing beer that was challenging in terms or styles and ingredients. As nomadic (or ¨gypsy¨) brewers, we were unconstrained by a single geography, and we decided to travel the country and the world to take inspiration for our beer journey. As such, and for the past 7 years we have dedicated ourselves to rethink what ¨Mexican beers¨ really mean. From an exploration of our traditional brewing history (we not only saved but perfected the Vienna lager), to an almost culinary dive into fruits, spices, woods, barrels, bugs and bacteria.

As wayward travelers, we are now ready to take our journey North. Following the steps of hundreds of years of migration, friendship and challenges, it’s now time to take our conversation to the US. However, as the obsessive beers nerds that we are, we have decided to brew our beer locally, to ensure our vision is not spoiled by time and transit. We also believe this is an opportunity to engage with beer in a whole new way, an entire world of new options ready to be explored.

This, however, will not be your typical Mexican fizzy and bland beer. We are less about Frida Kahlo and luchador masks, as we are of Enrique Olvera, Octavio Paz, Alfonso Cuarón and Guillermo del Toro. We take our inspiration both from the cosmopolitan streets of Roma Norte and Condesa in Mexico City, to the coastal cliffs and vineyards of Baja California. Our beers might be challenging, might be unexpected, but they certainly won’t be boring.

Our US launch is coming 2024. Stay tuned to this channel (and our social media ones, obviously) for more details.

This is gonna be fun.
